A lámpatestek típusai és fajtái
A lámpatesteket számos szempont alapján lehet csoportosítani:
* A fényforrás típusa szerint:
* Izzólámpás: A hagyományos izzólámpákat tartalmazó lámpatestek.
* Halogénlámpás: Halogénizzót tartalmazó lámpatestek, amelyek erősebb fényt adnak.

* A fényeloszlás szerint:
* Közvetlen fényű: A fényt közvetlenül lefelé, a megvilágítandó felületre irányítja.
* Főleg közvetlen fényű: A fény nagyobb része lefelé irányul, de egy része felfelé is.
* Szórt fényű: A fényt egyenletesen szórja szét a térben.
* Főleg közvetett fényű: A fény nagy része felfelé irányul, majd a mennyezetről és a falakról visszaverődve világítja meg a teret.
* A szerelés módja szerint:
* Függesztett lámpatestek: A mennyezetről lógnak.
* Falra szerelhető lámpatestek: A falra vannak rögzítve.
* Beépíthető lámpatestek: A mennyezetbe vagy a falba süllyesztve vannak.
* Asztali lámpák: Az asztalra helyezhető lámpák.
* A felhasználási terület szerint:
* Lakossági lámpatestek: Otthonokban használják.
